What if someone isn't a good fit for my group?

Hosts can decide if someone if not a good fit for their group, and ask them to stop attending. Some common situations where a host may want to remove a group member are:

  1. The level of support needed by the member is higher than the rest of the group.

  2. Personality type isn't a good match with the group.

  3. Member doesn't align with your group's goals and dynamics.

If you feel comfortable, we encourage you to send a chat message to the member, letting them know they are not a good fit for the group. Remember, there are groups for everyone at Pace! Please also email us at care@pace.group and we can remove the member from your group.

If you do not feel comfortable messaging the member, or the conversation becomes unproductive, you can block them. See more info on blocking here.

Please note, in cases of larger groups with multiple weekly sessions and hosts, blocking a member will not block them from the group entirely. It will only block them from being able to attend sessions which you host.
